If you want to open a game stored in another folder than your archive folder, you can do the following:
-
Press this button on the app bar of the game view to show the list of secondary commands. On a PC, you can use the menu of the title bar alternatively. This menu is more detailed than that of the app bar, so you can reach almost all the panes directly.
- Select the command: Manage game files.
- The game files pane comes into view. It shows the name, the comment, and the saved status of the current game.
- Click this button to locate and open the desired file. If the current game is not saved completely, you are ask whether you want to save or or discard it before opening.
- The game opened is shown in the game view.
As an alternative, you can perform these steps:
- Locate the desired game file with the extension ".ksol" in Windows File Explorer or in a similar application.
- Double-click the file.
- The desired file will be copied to the app folder. If multiple files are chosen, all will be copied to the app folder and the file with the highest name (latest creation date) will be selected for opening.
- If KubiSolitaire is not running yet, the app will be started automatically and the desired file will be opened.
- If KubiSolitaire is running already and the current file is not saved yet, a message box will be shown asking you if the current game shall be saved before opening the desired one.
