Before downloading the add-in, please note that the add-in can only be installed in Outlook 2016 or Outlook 2012. The “new” Outlook and Outlook on the web are not supported!
Installation is quick and easy. Just follow these steps:
- Download the ZIP file1)
Click the download link below to get the ZIP archive. It contains all necessary installation files. All files are digitally signed. You can verify the origin by checking the publisher name: "Paul Kubitscheck".
- Extract the ZIP file
Unzip the downloaded archive to any folder on your computer. Inside, you’ll find:
- OutlookFritzBoxAddInSetup.msi – the main installer
- Setup.exe – optional launcher for installation
- Start the installation
Double-click Setup.exe or run the .msi file directly to begin installation. Follow the on-screen instructions.
- Once the add-in has been installed, close Outlook if it is already running and restart it. Then go to the contacts view. There you will see the “FritzBox Import-Export” menu with its commands in the classic or reduced ribbon.
1)Some browsers (like Microsoft Edge or Chrome) may show a warning when downloading .msi or .exe files directly. This is a standard precaution for lesser-known software. By packaging everything in a ZIP file, we avoid most of these warnings.
