Shortcuts of the Game View

Keyboard shortcuts are representing abbreviations for general functions, like undo or save. They are not bound to a specific input element. Instead, they are received by the superior game view and executed if allowed and possible. Separate keyboard shortcuts are defined for overlay panes. Table 15 shows all keyboard shortcuts that can be executed when no overlay pane is visible:

Alt+1 Enlarges or normalizes the partial view of player 1.

On Mac keyboards, the Alt key is called Option.

Alt+2 Enlarges or normalizes the partial view of player 2.

On Mac keyboards, the Alt key is called Option.

Alt+3 Enlarges or normalizes the partial view of player 3.

On Mac keyboards, the Alt key is called Option.

Alt+4 Enlarges or normalizes the partial view of player 4.

On Mac keyboards, the Alt key is called Option.

Alt+T Enlarges or normalizes the partial view of the playing table.

On Mac keyboards, the Alt key is called Option.

Ctrl+A Shows the games archive pane.
Ctrl+B Makes the app bar visible and sets the input focus to the first enabled app bar button.
Ctrl+Shift+B Sets the input focus to the menu button on the title bar. The title bar is available only on PCs in desktop mode.
Ctrl+E Starts the edit mode or starts the edited game.

Offline mode: The edit mode is switched on.
Online mode: The shortcut is ignored.
Edit mode: The changed game will be started.

Ctrl+F Shows the game files pane.
Ctrl+H Shows the online help page associated to the current content of the game view. The online help requires an active Internet connection.
Strg+I Shows the app info pane. Here, for example, you can send a feedback email about the current game if you have noticed something about it. Sending a feedback email requires an active Internet connection.
Strg+K Sets the input focus on the action button, if available.
Strg+L Shows the log files pane.
Ctrl+N Starts a new game.

Offline mode: A new game is started. If the current game is not saved yet, the user is asked whether he wants to save or to discard the game state. He can also cancel the action.
Online mode: The shortcut is ignored.
Edit mode: the changed game will be started.

Strg+O Shows the go online pane. This feature is only available if you are using the online license.
Strg+P Shows the game setting pane. You can only change the game settings if the current game has not yet started. If necessary, you can restart the game beforehand by pressing Ctrl+R.
Ctrl+R Restarts the current game. All actions done are reverted.
Ctrl+S

Saves the current game score and all other data locally. If you use the online license, the global settings and game statistics are also uploaded to KubiServer, so that you can access them on another device.

The current game score, settings, and statistics are only saved if they have been changed in any way since loading. If you use the same KubiTarock ID on multiple devices, you will always receive the most recently uploaded data.

Ctrl+Alt+S Only saves the current game state if necessary.
Ctrl+T The simulator "Tarobot" selects an action once only. If "Tarobot" shall always select the action, the associated global option must be selected.
Ctrl+U Shows the game users pane.
Ctrl+V Toggles the gaming table between the result view and the talon view. This is possible only when the game is closed and the result view or the talon view is present.
Ctrl+X Closes the visible overlay pane even when the pane is locked.
Ctrl+Y Repeats the last action reverted.
Ctrl+Z Reverts the last action.

Back
Stops a running animation or lets overlay panes disappear. The key could be evaluated also by the focused input element.
F1 Shows the online help page associated to the current content of the game view. The online help requires an active Internet connection.
